Thistle Golf Estates is a 400-acre resort residential development located in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, just north of the Greater Myrtle Beach area, that includes a 27-hole resort golf course which is consistently rated among the very best in The Grand Strand. 

Thistle Golf Course includes a grand 15,000 SF clubhouse designed in the style of old Scottish architecture and boasts an impressive collection of golf artifacts and memorabilia from the original Links of Leith in Edinburgh, Scotland, including the original Rules of the Thistle Golf Club published in 1824. 

The project was acquired from two lenders and is being redeveloped by DGH Thistle, LLC, which includes William Haberman as President and Managing Member. 

The real estate component includes 122 residential estate lots, and required the development of the remaining horizontal infrastructure, construction of a community amenity center in the style and character of the existing golf clubhouse, and an aggressive model and speculative home building initiative to relaunch the community and generate sales.
